Ella is wonderful and fun and smart (she'll be four in July).  Example: I was singing (or something) snippets from the song "you can call me Al" from Paul Simon's Graceland album. " "Why am I soft in the middle now? Why am I soft in the middle? The rest of my life is so hard! I need a photo-opportunity, I want a shot at redemption! Don't want to end up a cartoon, In a cartoon graveyard ..... I can call you Betty, And Betty, when you call me, You can call me Al!" So... I randomly looked at Ella and said "Hi Betty."  She looked at me for a second and said "Hi Al"

I just had to say, when I heard that story, I thought it was adorable. To date Nathaniel.. I was 10 when that Album came out, but it was one of my parents' favorite. Paul Simon is a legend... I'm glad he's passing on good taste in music to his children.
